From the middle east to East Africa and Even West Africa we see chaos and all sort of dis-array in human civil existence in one way or the other,The Government's of this affected nations have been trying and doing all they can to bring sanity to their people but the peace still remains elusive.
Elusive not because they are not trying but elusive due to complexities in the issues surrounding the causes of this conflicts in the first place,we must first of all understand the parties to all this conflicts and they are not as follows :
1.The people.
2.The Government
3.The Religious Leader's
4.The External Benefactors
5.The sycophants
6.The Fanatics
7.The Wall Sitters
This seven make up the reason for all the trouble with security addressing this seven will lead to relative peace but not absolute peace ,and absolute peace is another topic all together.so let's take these factors one after the other hoping to achieve relative peace at the end of the day.
1.THE PEOPLE
In any conflict people are the crucial elements even though the issues surrounding might be land ,power or relevance,the perception they have will make up a conflict last or end quickly.the people are indeed an important aspect they are the bargaining chip for the leaders and rebels and sadly the ground that suffers during any conflict.The Syrian crisis isna good example as they people are torn between the government and the rebels or the revolutionary army,the revolutionary government says they have the people at heart the rebels also say thesame but the people still suffer from both ends.
The people end up becoming the pawns in the scheme of things and the earlier they understand this the earlier they will insulate themselves from being used to the advantage of warring parties as it takes two to tango as the saying goes.and education is a huge factor as most time the ignorance of the people is what is used to play on the people as seen in Northern Nigeria because before now the people lived in love but all that changed due to lack of proper understanding of issues.
2.THE GOVERNMENT
The Government is another piece of this whole puzzle,they are mostly elected to safe guard the interest of the people lived but the reality is that they often don't live up becoming to the billing as they should.the reason being that they often don't remember the reason or the promises they made to the people before their elevation to the office they occupy,this void creates a gestation womb for any discord to be sown.
In other words if the Government does what is expected on it ,the conflict peddlers will insulate have no moral grounds to thrive and so relative peace will be in place.The shortfall of government is the sin of becoming Lords instead of servants this makes the people see government as a lucrative money making business and creates many interest in taking power.
If 80% of government's of Nations all over the world bend towards servant leadership conflicts will become a thing of the past and i dare say that those days are upon us not now but soon.
3.THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS
This set of people are very important to the peace process,We have two groups within this group the fanatics /extremists or fundamentalists as they are sometimes called and we have the other group,the relational,this leader's are sometimes also another bunch of complexities as all major religions have this two groups within them and this makes the whole thing complex.
Every Religious group promotes it's own ideals and any opposition is treated as an act of attack on their belief.they forget that war is counter productive on the long run and in time any right thinking person will become aware of what is right or wrong true religion seeks for the good of what others. If and when Religious leaders wake up to true religion,only then will conflict be reduced ,so the question is this:when will that be ?
4.EXTERNAL BENEFACTORS
In all this equation we have outside forces that stand to gain a lot from crisis from within,they fuel the crisis by adding to the propaganda and heating up the already volatile situation in conflict areas and are never seen physically but hold are ever present pulling the strings that will give further worsen the situation.
And the truth is that the people don't get realise in time to take caution,identifying and recognizing these group in order to isolate is necessary for relative peace.
5.THE SYCOPHANTS
This group are ever present and most deceitful they laugh with you but their hearts are not with you.they are civil chameleons that change in opinions as quick as quick sand.they are a problem to stability and relative peace.
6.THE FANATICS
These group are followers of the already discussed RELIGIOUS LEADERS,they uphold the words of their leaders no matter the cost or consequence.these group are volatile to relative peace.
7.THE WALL SITTERS
This group are the indifferent ones that are neither here nor there and are often the indifferent victims of trouble makers this group group exist both in the fanatics and non-fanatics groups and for relative peace to reign they uphold must begin to act.
